Ubisoft announces Rainbow Six Mobile for Android and iOS

Ubisoft have announced Rainbow Six Mobile, a free-to-play FPS mobile game that will bring the core 5v5 competitive gameplay experience found in Rainbow Six Siege to iOS and Android devices.

Ubisoft confirmed that the mobile version of Siege will come with a selection of game modes such as Secure the Area and Secure the Bomb. Known Operators already available in Siege will be coming to the mobile version along with their signature gadgets, though Ubisoft hasn’t confirm which Operator will be available when the Mobile version launches, but based on the key art and the trailer, at least ten from the key art like Ashe, Caviera, Hibana, and Sledge are likely to make it to this version of the game.

So far, only maps Bank and Border were mentioned for Rainbow Six Mobile.

The core gameplay is said to be intact in this mobile version with some HUD changes and controls to accommodate mobile devices. This version of the game is also designed to feature shorter matches.

Rainbow Six Mobile is being developed by a team by Ubisoft Montreal and so far there’s no release date.

If you’re interested in trying it out before its release, sign ups for upcoming tests of Rainbow Six Mobile are now up at the game’s official website.
