Xbox and PC Game Pass Starts 2024 With These Games for January
/Microsoft is kicking off 2024 with a bang as PC and Xbox Game Pass will be bolstered with an impressive lineup of games throughout the first half of January.
There are a lot of notable games to look out for, one is Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, despite its issues, it’s the most jam-packed open-world game released so far for the franchise, so players jumping in for the first time will have hours upon hours playing as Eivor.
Another title coming to Game Pass is arguably the best example of why remakes are a fantastic idea — Resident Evil 2. Capcom brought back the classic survival horror sequel to the modern times and it success financially triggered the Japanese company to give the same treatment to Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4, remakes that found success as well.
We then have Hell Let Loose a realistic World War shooter on the scale of Battlefield but with enough realism that taking it slow and working with your squad can turn the tides of a match.
You can have a look at the full list of games and a short description of each one provided by Microsft.

Just like every month, as a new batch of games enter the service, another batch leaves. This month we have Grand Theft Auto V leaving Game Pass on January 5, with four more leaving on January 15 — Garden Story, MotoGP22, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable.
This will be music to the ears of kids who grew up on the series, but for the uninitiated, there’s nothing quite like the Mario & Luigi games. Mario & Luigi Brothership does its best to appeal to a wide range of players with charming presentation and a strong new Battle Plug system, but not everyone will be enamored with its reflex-testing gameplay.
