8 PS Plus Extra Games for October 2023 Was Leaked, Gotham Knights One of the Headliners
/We are now on our second week of October, which means it’s only a matter of time before we get another batch of new games joining the PlayStation Plus Games Catalogue. But thanks to reliable leaker Billbil-kun of Deal Labs, we at least have an idea of eight games coming to the service this month.
The leak isn’t a full list as they expect the catalogue update to feature around 20 games.
Here are the eight leaked:
Gotham Knights
The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes
Disco Elysium The Final Cut
Far: Changing Tides
Gungrave G.O.R.E
Elite Dangerous
Dead Island Definitive Edition
Alien Isolation
Gotham Knight being part of the service makes sense as we did see the 2022 co-op action RPG join Xbox and PC Game Pass this month as well, making it likely that Warner Bros. made a deal to make the game available on PlayStation Plus as well.
It’s claimed that the official announcement from Sony Interactive Entertainment that reveals all the games will happen sometime on October 11. We’ll update this page once Sony makes the reveal.
Bill-bil-kun has been on point with his reports, sharing some of the services’ offerings before the official announcement. The leaker was able to report 2-out-of-3 games offered in the Monthly Games for October 2023, which happened to be The Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 2022, and Weird West.
Last month’s PlayStation Plus September update for the Games and Classics Catalogues adds Nier Replicant, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contract 2, and a series of Star Ocean titles to scratch anybody’s JRPG itch.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has the potential to be a favorite for fans of the franchise, delivering an authentic Indiana Jones experience with its story and cinematic presentation. While the game shines in its exploration and puzzle elements, the combat and stealth mechanics’ lack of gameplay variety holds it back.
