Apex Legends Mobile's new season Hyperbeat now live, adds Legend Crypto

EA and Respawn Entertainment revealed the new season coming to Apex Legends Mobile and it’s called the Hyperbeat which officially launches today, August 23, 2022. The season starts with a new ranked split, new events, a new battle pass, improvements to core systems and the arrival of Surveillance expert Legend Crypto.
The Hyperbeat Season details
Just like the previous season, the launch of Hyperbeat means a reset in your rank, so get ready to climb the competitive ladder once again. New ranked rewards were added in higher levels.
VIP Supply Bins are scattered across Kings Canyon and collecting these to collect VIP passes and earn some gear for the match. The map Kings Canyon was also updated with a Pythas theater, which can be found at Airbase. According to a press release, players will have to fight their way “through Rhapsody’s POI-altering song to claim your reward”.
Just like Distortion, Hyperbeat comes with a new battle pass to earn new cosmetics and other rewards. Rhapsody’s Underground is available in the game’s Store Vault and is a series of new cosmetics to consider. The Store Vault is now updated with a new mechanic that increases drop rates for Eternal cosmetic items. Simply put, the more you draw from the Store Vault, the higher the drop rate increases for those items. The drop rate has a cap but ideally future pulls should yield better outcomes.
New Legend - Crypto
The Legend Crypto makes his debut in the mobile version of Apex Legends and works differently here. For one, his trusty drone has been redesigned to follow Crypto automatically and track nearby enemies.
For those new to the character, here’s a rundown of his abilities and perks.
Crypto Abilities
Passive: Neurolink - Enemies and traps detected by your surveillance Drone are marked for your squad within 30 meters range.
Tactical: Surveillance Drone - Deploy a pilotable drone to surveil your surroundings. The drone detects enemy squads and battlefield hazards.
Ultimate: Drone EMP - Your Drone sets off an EMP blast that deals Shield damage, slows enemies and disables traps.
Crypto Perks
Self Destruct: Destroyed drones explode after 3s, slowing and damaging enemies caught in the blast.
Hidden User: Become semi-transparent when controlling drones.
System Scan: Your drone reveals an enemy's HP and armor after 3s of scanning.
Shut Down: Your Ultimate also damages HP but cannot kill an enemy.
Lag Bomb: Your drone can launch an EMP bomb that slows and deals damage.
Salvage Operation: Your drone can retrieve items.
Battle Adaptation: Using your Finisher adds 100 points to your EVO Shield.
Restart: Using your Finisher instantly repairs your drone or reduces your Ultimate's cooldown by 30%.
Interrogator: Using your Finisher reveals the location of your target's squad on the mini map.
