Diablo IV Early Access Beta Preload Times Announced
/Blizzard is ramping up for Diablo IV’s biggest showing to the public this week as the Early Access beta begins this weekend. To get everyone ready, players who have early access can start pre-loading the beta version of the game as early as March 15.
Diablo IV Early Access beta preload times
That’s March 15, at 9 AM PDT / March 16, 12 AM SGT time, to be exact. The Early Access Beta officially goes live on March 17, 9 AM PDT / March 18, 12 AM SGT, and will feature both the prologue and the entirety of the game’s Act 1 which sets in the Fractured Peaks area.
Early Access players will have access to three classes only during the weekend – Barbarian, Rogue, and Sorcerer.
You can beeline and beat the main questline or take your time, and explore the game's more open world for the first time by exploring and taking in some side quests along the way. The beta will also feature dungeons and events if players want to challenge themselves. If you want the biggest challenge, look out for the world boss Ashava as Blizzard says the boss“emerges in Fractured Peaks to spread plague and rend flesh.”
Ashava is set to appear on March 18 (during Early Access) and March 25 (open beta) at 10 AM, 12 PM, 10 PM, and midnight PDT.
Remember, All progress will also not carry over to the open beta weekend. When the open beta does go live the weekend after, which is March 24, 9 AM PDT and concludes on March 27, 12 PM PDT, you can play the game fresh with the rest of the world, but this time with two more classes to try: the Necromancer and Druid.
For those looking forward to the open beta weekend, the option to preload will be available starting March 22 at 9 AM PDT / March 23 at 12 AM SGT. If you’ve already downloaded the game for the Early Access weekend, no need to redownload it again for the open beta weekend.
If you’ve always been eager to play Diablo IV, or are still on the fence about going back to this series, both weekends are your best shot at giving you a good idea of what to expect when the action RPG goes live on June 6 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
