Dying Light 2 will feature 40,000 lines of dialogue
/Techland can’t seem to contain themselves when promoting their open world zombie game Dying Light 2 as they now announced through social media that the game has 40,000 lines of dialogue, or more specifically, 350,000 words.
Techland is sticking with the marketing strategy of boasting on how big the Dying Light sequel will be as weeks ago the developers announced that Dying Light 2 would require 500 hours to do everything in the game (don’t worry, finishing the campaign takes around 20-30 hours).
Regardless, it’s impressive to say the least. For comparison, Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has 60,000 lines of voiced dialogue, but it isn’t as insane as Red Dead Redemption 2 which has 500,000 lines of dialogue.
One thing is clear, Techland is set to release an open world zombie game that will most likely keep you busy all through February.
Dying Light 2 is set to launch on February 4 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S. Xbox One, and PC. The Switch version via the cloud was delayed recently and the new release date for that version of the game has yet to be announced.
