Fairgame$ Announced by Haven Studios, a Competitive Heist Game

Sony Interactive Entertainment started their big PlayStation Showcase for May 2023 with the reveal of Haven Studios’ new IP called Fairgame$.

In a PlayStation Blog post, creative director Mathieu Leduc for Fairgame$ calls this game the a “modern-day Robin Hood” and is a PvP that will feature “emergent sandbox gameplay”.

“Every member of our team shares our vision to create welcoming and inclusive multiplayer experiences that glue communities together. This shared enthusiasm is the driving force behind our heist fantasy – how it really encourages you to work together in crews to plan and execute epic heists in the style and fashion you want.” continues Leduc in the post.

Sounds interesting but the information is pretty vague at the moment and it’s difficult to picture how the game will actually play for now considering what was shown was a CGI trailer, making it an unusual choice to start a PlayStation Showcase.

The game is being developed for PlayStation 5 and PC. No release window mentioned.
