It’s curious when they say “alternate timeline”. If this is non-canon, then this will likely not provide more context in the Destiny world, which is a bit disappointing as this takes place at an interesting point in time in the Destiny world. The trailer features new Supers that I can already hear Destiny 2 players wishing these abilities would eventually be available on the main game.
They didn’t detail the monetization with it being a free-to-play title, but there’s a chance it will be a bit more aggressive compared to what is currently available in Destiny 2, which is already questionable considering what is currently available in the game’s in-game store.
Destiny Rising Closed Alpha happening this November
Together with the announcement, NetEase also announced that a closed alpha will happen sometime in November. Those interested can pre-register for either Android or iOS on their official website. The closed alpha doesn’t seem to be region-specific.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remastered is a fun but flawed revisit to a zombie classic. It stays true in delivering its quirky and chaotic spirit, and was given a fair amount of polish to make it more appealing to modern players. While it’s a treat for longtime fans of the series, newcomers will feel the game’s age through its flaws.
