Guild Wars 2’s Holiday Wintersday Event for 2023 Is Now Live
/The MMORPG Guild Wars 2 is now in the Holiday spirit as the annual Wintersday event is now live.
Tyria is now officially celebrating the holiday season with various activities and Holiday cosmetics and rewards to celebrate the event. This year, Divinity’s Reach is Wintersday’s event hub from now until January 2, 2024. The starting area is decorated with tons of Christmas decorations, gifts, and seasonal activities for players to participate and hopefully score unique rewards for all their efforts
2023 Wintersday Event Rewards
This year, players can look out for new items such as the Mini Plush Cuckoo, new Wintersday Guild Hall decorations, and new and returning recipes and other consumables. One of the big rewards for this year is a choice of new cosmetics for certain weapon types from the Sacred Solstice collection and a Winter Fur Shoulders skin if you complete this year’s Wintersday achievements. Players can also have a chance to earn these rewards by opening Wintersday gifts from the seasonal vendor as you get a chance to get three Ornamented weapon skins for the staff, shield, and focus.

This year players can play eight seasonal activities, which is a mix of new and returning events.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
