Here’s how Horizon Forbidden West looks like on the PS4 Pro
/Guerrilla Games has announced that Horizon Forbidden West has officially gone gold, and to celebrate, Guerrilla and Sony have revealed our first look at the sequel running on a PS4 Pro.
From the looks of the gameplay footage provided in a PlayStation blog post, you’re not missing out if you plan to pick up the PS4 version of Horizon Forbidden West. The game will most likely look and perform better on the PS5 but this last-gen version is just as impressive.
Three short clips were released so far as it features Aloy walking through the utaru tribe’s Plainsong settlement, and footage of Aloy fighting against mechanized beasts called Clamberjaws and Bristlebacks.
While the game does look appealing in its own right, both Sony and Guerrilla have yet to go into detail of what will be the differences between the two versions. I’m sure many would appreciate more footage of the PS4 version as there remains to be a shortage of PS5 units around the world. We’ll likely hear more about Horizon Forbidden West as it’s now just weeks away, and with Guerrilla now done with core development, mass production of the game will begin to make the game’s February 18 release date.
Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel to the PS4 exclusive Horizon Zero and will be available on the PS4 and PS5.
