March 2025 PS Plus Game Catalog Update Adds Classic Armored Core Games

Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for March 2025, bringing a mix of modern hits and classic gems for Extra and Premium/Deluxe subscribers. This month's update is particularly exciting for mech combat fans, as three classic Armored Core games are making their way to the Classics Catalog.

All titles will be available to download starting March 18, 2025.

Key Highlights:

  • Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown arrives on PlayStation Plus after critical acclaim.

  • Three classic Armored Core games from FromSoftware added for Premium/Deluxe members.

  • Arcade Paradise VR expands the Classics Catalog lineup for PS VR2 players.

One of the interesting titles in this lineup is Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, one of the best titles to come out in 2024, earning an easy 5/5 when we reviewed it back in February. Another highlight can be found in the Classics Catalog, as Armored Core fans will be pleased to know that the first three games of the series have just been added for Premium/Deluxe members. This was FromSoftware’s first major franchise, eventually leading the studio to develop Soulslike titles, Elden Ring , and ultimately Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon .

These original Armored Core titles introduced deep mech customization, strategic combat, and intense arena battles, laying the foundation for the modern Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon and influencing FromSoftware’s later games.
