Marvel’s Midnight Suns To Add DLC Deadpool This January
/Firaxis Games will be updating their strategy game Marvel’s Midnight Suns by adding Deadpool to the roster. Those who own the Season Pass can play the DLC when it lands on January 26 as it comes with Deadpool and his own set of cards, new story missions, and more.
Naturally, the release date of Deadpool was announced with a hilarious trailer that’s filled with Deadpool’s personality and humor.
This DLC drop is titled ‘The Good, The Bad, and The Undead’ and will feature new story missions, enemies, and a new Hydra villain. Deadpool is described as a “in-your face damage dealer” and will have 10 unique Hero cards and new cosmetics. The new enemy types will be unlocked after completing the mission called “Spidermaaaans”.
This is the first major DLC to be released for Marvel’s Midnight Suns and the first piece of DLC that’s part of the game’s Season Pass, which also contains Storm, Venom, and Morbius as playable characters in the future. Those who have the season pass will just have to wait for the DLC to drop next week. Those who don’t have access can opt to buy each DLC for Midnight Suns separately, though they will have to wait for when the DLC drops to do so.
Just like other heroes available in the game, players can hang out with the merc with a mouth and build their friendship. The DLC also includes a new Abbey upgrade called the Food Truck.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns have been available on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC since last December, with no word as to when the game will be available in previous-gen consoles, or even the Switch.
I’ve been playing Firaxis’ latest strategy game and while I did experience it having a slow start, everything fell in place nicely as I couldn’t get enough of the game, easily reaching 100 hours as I tend to challenge myself with the game’s many difficulty levels.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
