MultiVersus Adds The Joker and Will Be Voiced by Mark Hamill

MultiVersus is adding the infamous Joker, Batman’s main villain, and will be voiced by Mark Hamill.

Mark Hamill returns yet again as the Joker and is paired yet again with the late Kevin Conroy who voices Batman in MultiVersus together with Mark in Batman The Animated series. Hamill also portrayed the Clown Prince of Crime in the Batman Arkham series together with Conroy as Batman.

First announced back in 2021, MultiVersus is a fighting game similar to Super Smash Bros that launched for all players through their open early access from July 2022 to June 2023. The game launched with a sizable roster containing Warner Bros characters, such as Shaggy from Scooby Doo, Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, DC characters such as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, to even Bugs Bunny. During this time, players experienced various issues that resulted in the developer Player First Games to shut down the game and work on improving it based on player feedback.

A few months ago they announced MultiVersus is coming back and will be fully released on May 28, 2024, with improved visuals, combat improvements, and new content, maps, and additional characters including Joker.
