The amount of resources one can gather in the New World can be intimidating, but one particular resource is rather easy to find. It's the first thing you’ll pick up when you reach the shores of Aeternum and in case you’re in the need to amass this particular rock, we found the best place to farm this resource.

Best place to farm flint in New World

The best place to farm flint so far is in Everfall, specifically in Dustmeadow. From the settlement, hit the main road heading slightly northeast to reach the area, you’ll know you’re on the right spot once you’ve reached the farm.

The spot you’re looking for is by the main road to the right (see the image above for the exact location) and you’ll notice a bunch of flints bunched up together.

What makes this spot special is the amount of flint you get to pick up in that single location. With the respawn timers to flint already short to begin with, you’ll be waiting for less than a minute to pick up another batch of flint.

Not only is it a good spot to farm flint, it’s surrounded by other resources worth picking up as you wait for the rocks to respawn. There’s a Soulsprout plant nearby (which is very important for potion crafting), a few hemp to harvest, and even a pig in case you’re interested in amassing pork for cooking.

For those unaware, flint is selling quite high on the trading post for some servers. The value varies in each server and region, but it’s worth checking how much a single flint will cost in the trading post. If the price seems worth the time, head to Everfall and keep picking up those rocks for as long as you need.

New World has been out since September 28 on PC and many are still at it , farming, questing, doing PVP, exploring all that Aeternum has to over as they climb to reach the max level of 60.
