Since Nintendo Switch Online launched, the amount of classic games available to whoever is a subscriber to the service has grown as it now offers a wide variety of classic Nintendo titles from NES, SNES. Sega Genesis games, and now classic games from two handheld platforms mentioned above. The service even has the N64 shooter GoldenEye with online multiplayer.
The February 2023 Nintendo Direct, which debuted on February 8, also revealed new gameplay footage of Pikmin 4, a new trailer for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, Metroid Prime Remastered which is out today, and a lot more.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
