Ragnarok X: Next Generation Now Live In Southeast Asia

Ragnarok X: Next Generation, a mobile title of the MMORPG franchise Ragnarok, is now available for download in 9 countries within the Southeast Asia region. To celebrate it’s launch, a series of events planned in the coming weeks.

According to Gravity and developer The Dream Network, here are the events to look out for:

  • Landmark Lighting - players from each country can collaborate by completing missions to ‘light up’ their country’s landmarks and earn exclusive rewards worth 150k crystals.

  • King of MVP - players can win a special title Glorious Legend by earning points during MVP or Miniboss fights based on their performance.

  • Glory Pass - as a special treat for players in SEA, there is also an awesome Motorbike Mount which players can earn by completing daily missions in their Glory Pass. Doing so will earn then rewards like gift boxes, items, and EXP, with the Motorbike Mount and the accompanying biker suit as the final prize.

For the launch, Ragnarok X: Next Generation will feature three-limited items that players can acquire; the Plai Kaew Elephant mount, a Kinnaree Crown, and a Nusantara Mask. According to Gravity, “Players can follow the details found within their version of the game to acquire these prizes.”, suggesting each country could have a different way to obtain these items.

For those unfamiliar with Ragnarok X: Next Generation, this is a mobile game that delivers a similar Ragnarok MMORPG experience in a 3D space. The classes, locations, and creatures from the original game returns with similar features like Guildwars , the Marriage system, and Guild system from previous titles.

Ragnarok X: Next Generation can be downloaded today on either the App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android.
