SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble Now Available on Switch and Steam
/Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that the beat ‘em up SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble, which was based on the recently released movie Shin Kamen Rider, is now available through Switch and Steam. The game also features a season pass that lets you play iconic characters from other franchises.
Play as one of the Shin Japan Heroes Universe
SD Shin Kamen Rider will feature a collaboration between multiple franchises as the game will have Godzilla, Evangelion’s Unit-01, and Ultraman as playable characters in the future.
The season pass gives you access to all of these character DLC packs or you can buy them separately. The Evangelion Pack will be released first on May 11, 2023, and will feature Unit-01, a unique boss stage simply called “Evangelion Stage”, and an in-game Pin Badge called “Umbilical Cable”.
Next will be the Shin Ultraman Pack that’s set to launch on May 25, 2023. You’ll get to play as Ultraman, have access to yet another new boss stage called “Shin Ultraman Stage”, and also earn another Pin Badge called “Beta Capsule”.
Lastly, the Shin Godzilla Pack is set to launch on June 8, 2023. Play as Godzilla himself, and earn access to the “Shin Godzilla Stage”, and the “Transmutation Membrane” Pin Badge.
The Shin Japan Heroes Universe (S.J.H.U.) is a collaboration between the four titles – Shin Godzilla, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon Time, Shin Ultraman, and Shin Kamen Rider – a joint initiative by TOHO, khara, Tsuburaya Productions, and Toei that began in 2022.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
