Super Robot Wars 30 Launches This October

Anime robot fans will be pleased to know that Bandai Namco has announced the release date of Super Robot Wars 30 as it’s set to launch on October 28, 2021 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The announcement was done through a video greeting featuring producers Takanobu Terada and Hokei Mogami, showcasing some of the game’s features, revealing more participating titles to be featured in the game, and most importantly it’s launch date.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the successful Super Robot Wars series, and Super Robot Wars 30, is considered a celebration for the series.

For those unfamiliar, Super Robot Wars is a strategy RPG that brings iconic robots and characters of various animes to fight alongside one another to face a common threat. So if you like the idea of a Gundam fighting alongside Mazinger Z, you might get a kick out of this series.

Super Robot Wars 30 preorder bonuses is pretty extensive as you’ll be rewarded with a series of mission DLCs, a few in-game rewards, and a starter pack filled with in-game resources for your playthrough.

Mission: Spirit of Steel
- Rewards the SRX unit, Striker Scope, and Defender Arm Power Parts.

Mission: Elemental Lord
- Rewards the Cybaster unit, Cyclone Booster, and Sky Charm Power Parts.

Special Starter Pack
- Rewards the Military Academy 30 ID Power Part, 50,000 credits, 500 PP, and 3,000 MxP.

Bonus Mission: Spirit of the Blade
- Rewards the Spirit of the Blade Power Part, 50,000 credits, 500 PP, and 3,000 MxP.

Bonus Mission: Spirit of the Shot

- Rewards the Spirit of the Shot Power Part, 50,000 credits, 500 PP, and 3,000 MxP.

Bonus Mission: Spirit of Power

- Rewards the Spirit of Power Power Part, 50,000 credits, 500 PP, and 3,000 MxP.

Super Robot Wars 30 will have a digital deluxe edition available that will come with not only the game but it’s Season Pass and a bonus mission pack. The Ultimate digital edition will come all that’s in the deluxe edition plus the Premium Sound & Data Pack which contains 31 anime themes and soundtracks of their respective anime titles.
