Nintendo Introduces Virtual Game Cards, Letting Players Share Digital Games

Nintendo has announced Virtual Game Cards, a new feature that lets Switch and Switch 2 players share their digital games with friends and family. The system even allows transfers between a player's own consoles, with automatic returns for lent games. Virtual Game Cards launch in April 2025 and will be supported on the Switch 2.
