Tales of Arise Reached 3 Million Units Sold, It’s Also Now Available on Xbox Game Pass
/Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that JRPG Tales of Arise reached the three million units sold mark across digital and physical.
It’s a slow climb for the Tales series’ latest entry as the JRPG reached the two million units sold mark in April 2022. The game was released on September 9, 2021.
Tales of Arise was given mostly positive reviews when it was released as it received a commendable Metacritic score of 87 and has maintained a ‘positive’ status through user reviews on Steam. When I played it myself, it was an easy 9/10 and was a great entry to the Tales series and I still recommend the title to this day.
In fact, the game is more accessible starting today as Tales of Arise was just added to Xbox and PC Game Pass. The JRPG was also added to PlayStation Plus’ Game Catalogue for February, along with classic Tales titles for subscribers to explore the JRPG series.
Tales of Arise was given a lengthy expansion called Beyond the Dawn just last year on November 9. The expansion continues where the main story left off as the group gathers once again to help a young girl through an unfortunate situation.
Tales of Arise is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
