If you’re going through New World, an MMO from Amazon Games Studios, you’re bound to come across a quest that doesn’t exactly give you the right information. This is the case for the quest ‘One Threat at a Time’, which can be picked up in the First Light settlement.

The quest is pretty simple - you’re tasked to eliminate Boatswain Ambrose and Quartermaster Zebulon in Nyhart’s Anchorage. Getting to the location is rather simple, even finding Quartermaster Zebulon is rather easy if you just follow the marker. But for Boatswain Ambrose? It’s a bit tricky.

How to find New World’s Boatswain Ambrose

The quest ‘One threat at a Time’ can be picked up from Sylvia Oaks in First Light. Head over to Nyhart’s Anchorage which is north of the settlement.

Once you reach the area, you’ll notice that there are two pin markers in the area, showing you where your two targets are located. One pin points at the boat that is docked in the area, this is where you can find Quartermaster Zebulon. Getting there can be slightly tricky as it’s filled with enemies. If you’re lucky, you’re not the only one looking for the Quartermaster and you’ll breeze through all the enemies easily.

Now, for Boatswain Ambrose. The marker makes it difficult to find as instead of going directly at the marker you’ll need to head to a cave directly beneath the marker.

Once you reach the marker you’ll notice a series of stairs leading down. Keep going with these stairs until you hit the ground. From there just move forward until you’re below the docks and you’ll notice a cave entrance with a few enemies guarding it. You’ll then see Boatswain Ambrose himself just sitting there waiting to be taken out.
