Dying Light 2 post-launch content roadmap revealed
/Dying Light 2 Stay Human releases next week and Techland has provided a roadmap of what kind of content you can expect after the game launches on February 4, and it looks like the first batch of free content will be factions-inspired DLCs.
The roadmap you see below is pretty vague but it shows that the game gets a set of challenges in March, followed by a series of events for April. Then, we can expect the game’s first paid story-based DLC to drop in May alongside another batch of challenges.
This is a glimpse of the kind of support Techland is planning for Dying Light 2 Stay Human as they promise 5 years of support, similar to how they supported the first game, which did have over 5 years of support, getting new content to this day. The support will come in the form of more story DLCs, new weapons, enemies, events, and other free to paid DLCs.
Techland’s marketing is all about going big, boasting about how Dying Light 2 Stay Human requires 500 hours to fully complete everything (though the campaign roughly needs 20-30 to complete) and that the game has 40,000 lines of dialogue.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human will launch on February 4 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
