The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is coming to the PS5 soon and in case you’re excited to jump in to play the latest Uncharted titles that launched on the PS4 years ago, here’s all the details you need to know to get ready for it’s launch.
When is Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection coming out on the PS5?
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available on January 28, 2022 on the PS5. The collection will also be available on the PC, which will be the first time the Uncharted series will be available on another platform. The PC version currently has no release date but it will launch on Steam.
Will there be a pre-load available?
Yes! You can now pre-load Uncharted: legacy of Thieves Collection if you decide to pick up the digital version of the collection. Twitter account PlayStation Game Size confirmed that the pre-load went live back in January 21, 2022 and revealed that the collection’s game size is around 67 GB of space on your PS5.
Can I upgrade to the PS5 version of the game if I owned the PS4 version of Uncharted 4?
That’s what PlayStation has confirmed. Those who own a PS4 copy of Uncharted: A Thief’s End or Uncharted Lost Legacy can opt to upgrade to the Legacy of Thieves Collection for $10.
What changes come with Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection?
The collection contains the campaign of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. This PS5 version of both ames contain new performance options such as Performance Plus which ramps up the fps to 120 FPS at 1080p, Fidelity Mode that runs both games at 4K, 30 fps, and Performance mode at 60 fps. Then, both games will utilize the DualSense features like the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, plus 3D audio.
Can I transfer my progress from the PS4 to the PS5 version of both games?
Yes, according to this PlayStation page, all you need to do is transfer your PS4 save file onto your PS5. You can do this either through USB transfer or through the PS Plus cloud feature. In the game menu, you then need to pick a game, press ‘Story’ then press ‘Import game from PS4 console’. Once the import is done, you’ll need to make a new save with the import and you’re all set to play where you left off on your PS4.
Does the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection include Uncharted 4’s multiplayer?
Sadly, no. The only way you can join the multiplayer version of the game is to boot up the PS4 version of Uncharted 4 or Uncharted The Lost Legacy.
