First Destiny 2 The Final Shape Teaser Reveals Cayde-6 Is Alive
/Bungie was present at PlayStation’s big showcase and revealed our first look at Destiny 2’s next big expansion called The Final Shape, and also showing the return of fan-favorite Cayde-6.
Have a look at the quick tease below.
There are so many questions with this now out in the wild. The last time we saw Cayde-6, he perished at the hand of Uldren Sov during the Forsaken expansion which released way back in 2018. It’s been so long that players can no longer play that part of the game, a revenge tour to hunt down the man who took down a fan favorite character. And based on the teaser above, it also seems like Cayde is once again voiced by actor Nathan Fillion
But somehow, he returned and is with Ikora in an unknown place. If you’ve finished the Lightfall expansion, you have a good idea of where they are and won’t spoil it any further.
Bungie is set to reveal more about The Final Shape expansion on August 22, 2023, as they are likely to have their own broadcast event similar to when they officially revealed the Lightfall expansion gameplay.
Destiny 2 currently just shifted to their next season called Season of the Deep and the story beats in this one continues the story that will eventually connect to The Final Shape expansion planned for release early next year.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
