For Honor's Year 4 Starts Next Week, Season 1 Titled "Hope"
/Ubisoft continues to update their melee-focused action game For Honor and have revealed what you can expect from Year 4’s series of content planned for 2020.
The first season, called “Hope”, continues the overall narrative after the cataclysm event that occured last year, showing a sense of hope for all factions. An end of an story arc, if you will, as the game’s factions have found a truce in their never ending war. But of course that won’t last for long as the game is all about them being in conflict with one another, and we’ll soon see the narrative shift into bringing a new reason as to why they will wage war against one another again.
The title of Year 4 is “Year of Reckoning” and it will begin on February 6. Since this is the positive point in the game’s narrative, Ubisoft is taking this opportunity to introduce weapons and armor that have a more brighter tone compared to the eerie and dark designs that complement the overall theme in Year 3.
Just like previous years, Year of the Reckoning will feature 4 seasons of content, with “Hope” being the first one to start the year.
Battle Pass introduced in For Honor’s Year 4
The new gear can be looted once the game officially enters Year 4 but some of them will be gated by For Honor’s new Battle Pass system. This is the same Battle Pass seen in Rainbow Six: Siege and other games and this one will feature 100 tiers of content to unlock by simply playing the game’s various game modes, or buy some of the tiers to speed up your progression.
Dominion main game mode for competitive play this season
Ubisoft is also planning to support the competitive side of For Honor by hosting official tournaments. Year 4 will bring the For Honor Dominion Series, a series of tournaments for North American and European teams going against one another in the Dominion game mode via the PC platform.

After 15 years Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is now available on PC, Xbox Series, and even PC Game Pass. But it didn’t launch smoothly as at launch players experienced numerous bugs and issues as they returned to The Zone.
