Hearthstone's Forbidden Library Updated Starts This Week
/Hearthstone’s latest expansion Scholomance Academy has been out for a month now and Blizzard is spicing things up with Forbidden Library, a series of new content and offers that will be added to the game during the month of September.
The first one is the ability to queue Hearthstone’s Battlegrounds game mode with up to four friends, or host your own private game with 5-8 players. Battlegrounds parties will be available to all players starting September 9.
On September 16, the latest Book of Heroes —solo adventure focused on a known character in Hearthstone — will focus on Jaina Proudmore and how she became the mage she is known today. Book of Heroes: Jaina is one of many free single-player adventure content Blizzard is planning to release over the course of the next 12 months and will eventually cover all 10 core heroes featured in Hearthstone.
Finishing Book of Heroes: Jaina will score you 1 Mage Pack which contains only Mage cards from Hearthstone’s standard set.
Last but not least we have Heroic Brawliseum coming back, a unique Tavern Brawl that allows players to construct a deck from your own collection then duke it out with other players to see if they can reach up to 12 wins before losing three games. Just like before, the more wins you get during your Brawliseum run, the better the rewards at the end of it.
Together with these three events, Blizzard is hosting new bundles available for a limited time and starts this week. from September 9, 2020 until September 30, 2020.
Wild players can consider the Mega Wild bundle which is now available and comes with 56 packs from expansion recently rotated out of the standard and is now part of Wild, the game mode where all cards in Hearthstone is available for play.
The Scholar Jaina Bundle, which includes the Scholar Jaina Hero skin and five Mage Packs, will be available from September 16 - September 22. If you’re looking to get the Magic of Dalaran Card Back for your collection (previously a seasonal reward in June 2017) it will be available from September 23 – September 30.
