Little Nightmares 3 Announced, Set to Launch in 2024
/Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed Little Nightmares 3 is being developed over at Supermassive Games, and that the eerie puzzle platformer is to release sometime in 2024 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
The newest addition is the ability to play the game with another player through online co-op as we have two new characters, Low and Alone, going on an adventure in this dreadful world. If you are keen on playing it alone that’s okay too as Little Nightmares 3 is fully playable as a single player experience.
Here’s a quick description of the game coming from Bandai Namco.
“In Little Nightmares III, players will follow the journey of Low and Alone, two friends looking for a way to get out of the Nowhere. They will travel through the Spiral, a world filled with dangerous threats such as Monster Baby in the Necropolis. Each character carries its own iconic item – a bow and arrow for Low, and a wrench for Alone – that they will use to solve puzzles and help them in their quest to escape.”
Bandai is also expanding the Little Nightmares universe through other mediums as they announced a new podcast series based on the game world called The Sounds of Nightmares. its a six-episode series that follows the story of Noone, a young girl who is committed to the Counties Psychiatric Institute to deal with her ever-worsening nightmares. The first two episodes are out now for free, and the next episode is set to come out every Tuesday.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
