What’s the difference between Monthly Games and the Game Catalog?
It can still be the difference between the two but it’s simply this - Monthly Games are offered to all PlayStation Plus subscribers. When you claim these Monthly Games, it will be added to your library. As long as you are subscribed to PlayStation Plus, you can play any of the PlayStation Games that was offered from Monthly Games. There’s no expiration date to these Monthly games.
For the games in the PlayStation Plus Game and Classic Catalogs, these are a library of games offered to those that opted for the Extra and Premium/deluxe version of PlayStation Plus. As long as you are subscribed, you can play any of the games offered in these catalogs.
The catch? The games in these catalogs can leave the service, making you unable to play the game despite being subscribed.
In case you missed it, these are the new games added to the Game and Classic catalogs for March 2025.
