PlayStation celebrations one year of the new service
This month marks the start of the PlayStation celebration as Sony is planning a series of activities starting from June 20 through June 30. For starters, PS Plus members will receive a voucher code to redeem custom avatars and wallpaper next week.
PlayStation Stars, PlayStation’s new rewards program, is also chiming in the celebration as they will also offer exclusive digital collectible rings you can collect next week for your account.
PlayStation is also giving away a PS5 and PS VR2 only for select countries, requiring players interested in the contest to answer five questions about the service. The company will also be hosting a speedrun challenge with Sackboy a Big Adventure as those that participate in the challenge could win themselves a 3-month membership of PS Plus Premium/Deluxe.
Lastly, next week will have another free online multiplayer weekend for non-PS Plus members starting June 24 through June 25.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
