We where even given a title coming to the mysterious PlayStation 5, a new Bravely Default game, a sequel to Hellblade, and more.

Godfall a PS5 and PC title coming next year
Godfall was revealed and it’s a new IP from Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing planned to be a launch title for the PlayStation 5. It’s also coming to the PC when it launches Holiday 2020 and in Gearbox’s words, this is a “third-person fantasy looter-slasher focused on melee combat”. We where given an in-game teaser presenting the game’s visuals.
Prologue is the next project from the creator of PUBG
The creator of battle royale game PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds revealed Prologue and there’s nothing much aside from the teaser seen above. “With Prologue, we are taking our first steps toward building new technologies and interactions that will help develop my ideas into reality.” says Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene, the creator of PUBG. This project is under PlayerUnknown Productions, a studio within PUBG Corporation.
Indie studios working on titles set in the League of Legends world
Riot Forge, Riot Games’ new publishing label, showed off one of the many games set in the League of Legends world. They announced two titles and both are being developed by indie studios - the first game is called the Ruined King who is being developed by Airship Syndicate (Darksiders Genesis) and the other is Convergence being developed over at Double Stallion.
New Fast & Furious title isn’t all about the racing
We are getting a new Fast & Furious game and apparently it’s not going to be an arcade racer that’s all about the cars. This is a team-based action game where you plan and execute over-the-top heists. Main characters from the films will be in it and it’s planned for a May 2020 release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Gears goes tactical with Gears Tactics
Gears Tactics is pretty much Gears turned into a turn-basted strategy games in the likes of XCOM. It will feature a length campaign that takes place 12 years before the events of the original Gears of War. Gears Tactics is being developed by British studio Splash Damage.
Bravely Default II is happening
Square Enix is releasing releasing Bravely Default II on the Nintendo Switch next year. This is the third title for the franchise as the first Bravely Default came out on the 3DS in 2012, then a sequel was released in 2015 which was also for the 3DS. This will be the first Bravely Default title for a home console.
Introducing Ghost from Ghost of Tsushima
The PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima got a lengthy trailer showing that the game is coming along nicely and that it’s set for a Summer 2020 release. It focuses on the protagonist taking on the mantle called “The Ghost” and revealed that a samurai’s blade isn’t the only weapon in your arsenal.
Microsoft unveils Project Scarlett’s official name - Xbox Series X
Xbox head Phil Spencer took the stage and revealed how the new Xbox console will look like, and let’s just say it wasn’t what I was expecting. It comes with a new Xbox controller and it’s all set for the 2020 holiday season.
Hellblade is getting a sequel, coming to Xbox Series X
Ninja Theory’s Hellblade is getting a sequel and it’s called Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. The trailer above is said to be captured in-engine using the Xbox Series X and it seems to have retained the same look and feel of the original game. It’s not yet confirmed to be a launch title for the console but we wouldn’t be surprised if that would be the case.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is now my favorite title from the Persona team by far. It’s one of those rare games where its main pillars work harmoniously, and you get lost in its charm. It’s a pristine JRPG, with enough style and substance to satisfy hardcore JRPG fans, Persona fans, and even those who rarely touch JRPGs.
