The Last of Us: Part 2 Has Gone Gold, Various Editions Detailed

Despite the sudden delay and recent release date shuffles, The Last of Us: Part 2 has finally gone gold, which means the game is going to mass production for it’s June 19, 2020 release.

The Last of Us: Part 2 director Neil Druckmann made the “gold” status announcement through Naughty Dog’s Youtube channel. Usually, these announcements are made together with the whole team in their studio but due to the world’s current situation, that wasn’t the case for this team.

But that wasn’t the only good news as pre-orders of the game’s physical copies and it’s various editions is now available.

To those interested in getting a few goodies with their copy of The Last of Us: Part 2, there are four editions available for purchase:

Special Edition - PHP 4,399

The Last of Us™ Part II Special Edition comes with a collectible SteelBook Case including the full game, a 48-Page Mini Art Book from Dark Horse.

Collector’s Edition - PHP 10,599

Each edition of the game will come with digital contents like a digital copy of the soundtrack, 6 PSN avatars, a PS4 dynamic theme, and a digital version of the mini art book from dark horse. .

For added incentive, and while stocks last, Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore (SIES) announced that all pre-orders of the physical copy of the game will come with a limited edition t-shirt featuring Ellie’s tattoo printed on the back of the tee.

If all you are interested in is just the game and nothing else, the standard copy’s suggested retail price is set at PHP 2,999 in the Philippines.

The Last of Us: Part 2 will be out exclusively on the PS4 on June 19, 2020.
