Watch Dogs Legion post-launch support has ended
/Ubisoft announced that they are no longer supporting Watch Dogs: Legion with additional content, making Title Update 5.6 the final major patch.
The open world game has been out since 2020 and was given a series of content updates from fully releasing it’s online free roam game mode, season pass content to even an expansion called Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodlines that let’s players play as Aiden Pierce, the first protagonist in the Watch Dogs series.
The online portion of the game currently offers the Season 5 Stripes’ reward track. Once that season is over, the game will go back to Season 3’s and back up again to Season 5 to give players another shot at previous rewards.
Post-launch support for Watch Dogs: Legion ended just a little over a year after the game launched in October of 2020, showing that the game wasn’t greatly received as Ubisoft had hoped. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla released in the same year, even just weeks apart from Legion and that title is still going strong as it’s soon to get a major expansion called Dawn of Ragnarok, which is scheduled to come out on March 10.
