Dead By Daylight's Resident Evil Chapter Will Add Nemesis, Jill, And Leon To The Game
/Dead by Daylight’s 5th anniversary livestream event has revealed that their Resident Evil Chapter will include Nemesis as a new killer with Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine as the new survivors to join the 4v1 multiplayer game from Behaviour Interactive.
The next chapter is a tad bit generous as we are getting two new survivors paired with the new killer, adding new perks to the game.
The Nemesis killer will be unique compared to other killers as this will be the first killer to be assisted by AI controlled creatures as there will be zombies with him patrolling the map. He will have a long ranged tentacle attack that can infect survivors with the T-Virus, making them cough loud, making it easier for Nemesis to find them. Survivors can cure themselves from the virus by finding the cure which is scattered all around the map. Problem is, the cure is limited, so you’ll have to pick when to use it.
For survivors, Jill and Jeon is equipped with cool perks giving all survivors more ways to play the game. Jill will have a perk that can attach a mine on a generator, which triggers and blinds the killer that tries to sabotage it. Leon, on the other hand, will have a perk that will spawn flashbangs in the map which can be used to blind killers and also stop them from carrying downed survivors.
The Resident Evil Chapter will also feature the Raccoon City Police Department map and is designed in a way that if you played the Resident Evil 2 remake, the layout should be recognizable to you when you explore the new map.
This is the second chapter for Dead by Daylight to cross between another video game franchise. Last year, fans were given a treat as the Silent Hill chapter was announced during Dead by Daylight’s 4th anniversary livestream event as Pyramid Head was revealed to be the next killer to enter the realm with Cheryl Mason as the new survivor.
Dead by Daylight’s content for the upcoming Resident Evil chapter will go live after the 5th anniversary livestream so that players can test things out before it goes live on June 15, 2021.
After 15 years Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is now available on PC, Xbox Series, and even PC Game Pass. But it didn’t launch smoothly as at launch players experienced numerous bugs and issues as they returned to The Zone.
