Elder Scrolls Online's Next Expansion is Summerset
/Looks like The Elder Scrolls Online players are heading to Summerset, home of the High Elves. The expansion will be out on PC first on May 21. The expansion will be out on PS4 and Xbox One on June 5.
The expansion continues the current story in the game. Here's Bethesda's synopsis for the expansion's story:
Continuing the epic meta-story that began in 2015 with the Orsinium DLC Game Pack, players will once again face the Daedric conspiracy that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel.
At the behest of Queen Ayrenn, who has opened Summerset to foreigners by royal decree, players will embark on a sweeping adventure to rejoin the infamous Khajiit spy Razum-dar, meet the mighty sages of the Crystal Tower, and fight for Tamriel’s fate once more.
Amongst the beauty of the ancestral home of the High Elves, shadows rise and rumors spread of strange disappearances. A corrupting influence works to destroy High Elf society from within, and now, whispers stir of Daedric followers organizing in the shadows
Players will be exploring two major islands: Artaeum and Auridon in Summerset Isle. Summerset will also feature a new skill line adding new magical powers from the Psijic Order. The crafting system will also be expanded with the ability to forge jewelry.
It's a beefy expansion for the Elder Scrolls Online community. They state that it adds over 30 hours of additional gameplay and new group activities such as challenges, a new trial, delves, group events, and more.
