Next-Gen Versions Of Marvel's Avengers And Hawkeye DLC Coming This March
/ Carlos HernandezSquare Enix and Crystal Dynamics have announced that the next-gen release of Marvel’s Avengers plus the Hawkeye DLC, titled ‘Operation: Future Imperfect’, are coming on March 18, 2021.
Players who purchased either the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of Marvel’s Avengers can upgrade to the full next-gen version at no additional cost. You can also transfer your progress to the PS5 and Xbox One.

The next-gen version of Marvel’s Avengers will provide enhanced visuals, faster loading time, resolution support up to 4K, and a 60 fps frame rate. Only the Xbox Series S will only support up to 1440p resolution.
If you are planning to continue your progress on either PS5 and Xbox Series X/S but have friends still on previous consoles that won’t be a problem as Avengers have cross-gen support for either consoles.
The release of the next-gen version of Marvel’s Avengers also comes with the new chapter in the game’s ongoing story with Operation: Future Imperfect, adding Hawkeye as a playable character. This free DLC picks up where the game’s first DLC, Operation Taking AIM, ended. The new story content adds more context with Hawkeye’s quest as well as introduces a new villain called Maestro, a sadistic version of the Hulk who’s just as powerful as regular Hulk but mixed with the smarts of Bruce Banner.
By mid March, both Kate Bishop, Hawkeye and their respective story content will be available, two post-launch DLC packages that were originally planned for release sometime in October 2020 but was delayed alongside the next-gen version of Avengers.
