Final Fantasy VII Remake Is One Of Your PS Plus Free Games For March 2021
/ Carlos HernandezSony has officially announced the free games offered for PlayStation Plus subscribers for March 2021. Members will get Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4), the PS VR game Farpoint, a new puzzler Maquette (PS5), and Remnant: From the Ashes (PS4). For Asian PSN accounts, they will get Knack 2 instead of Remnant.
It’s been rumored this week that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be free to PS Plus members and it looks like it was true.

The announcement comes right after PlayStation debuted their first State of Play presentation for 2021, revealing Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade which includes an episode DLC featuring Yuffie as the main character in this new content for the game. They also revealed that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be getting a PS5 upgrade with improved visuals, 60 fps, photo mode, faster loading times, and more.
Players who own either a physical or digital copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake can upgrade to get the PS5 version for free. Players who have access to the PS4 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake through the PlayStation Plus service will not be eligible for the free PS5 upgrade when it becomes available this July.
All the PS4 titles on offer for March will be playable on the PS5. Marquette is the title only available to PS5 owners. It’s a new first-person puzzler launching on March 2, 2021 and is another new game offered in PS Plus, similar to players getting Destruction AllStars for free the month it was released.
Speaking of Destruction AllStars, if you haven't picked it up, the multiplayer car carnage game will still be offered for free until April 5, 2021, together with the March free game offers. For the other two titles offered in February —Control: Ultimate Edition and Concrete Genie —you only have until March 1 to add them to your game library.
