Here's Your PlayStation Plus Lineup for August 2020
/PlayStation Blog just dropped the details for the free games that'll be hitting PlayStation Plus for the month of August. PS Plus subcribers will be getting the all-new multiplayer obstacle racer party game, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, on the game's launch day of August 4th, 2020. As well as the updated version of the FPS powerhouse that is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
Developed by Mediatonic and published by Devolver Digital, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is an online multiplayer party battler where-in up to 60 players compete through a variety of different stages and challenges to be the last one standing. The game is heavily inspired by TV game shows such as Takeshi's Castle, Wipeout, Ninja Warrior, etc, and uses physics-based obstacles and interactions to bash your way through objects and players alike to reach the goal. As mentioned earlier, the game will be available to download on its release date of August 4th until August 31st.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered
Released back in March of this year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered lets you relive the epic single-player campaign from Activision's 2009 blockbuster, with an all new look made for a new generation. As the title suggests, this is just the single-player campaign and won't include multiplayer but don't let that be a deterring factor as Beenox did a stellar job at modernizing this FPS classic. Do note that the Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle will not be included. The game will be available to download starting from July 28th until August 31st.
But wait, there's more
PS4 owners will be having a free online multiplayer weekend from August 8th until August 9th. And as a way of saying thanks for supporting PS Plus over the past 10 years, Sony has released a PS Plus 10th Anniversary PS4 theme as a limited-time free download on PS4. Be sure to claim it while you still have the chance.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is now my favorite title from the Persona team by far. It’s one of those rare games where its main pillars work harmoniously, and you get lost in its charm. It’s a pristine JRPG, with enough style and substance to satisfy hardcore JRPG fans, Persona fans, and even those who rarely touch JRPGs.
