Join DedSec In Watch Dogs: Legion As Ubisoft Is Offering A Free Trial This Weekend
/Ubisoft is opening the gates to Watch Dogs: Legion this weekend with a free trial session that will start from March 26 until March 29. Players can try out the single player campaign and the recently released online mode and your progress will carry over once you own a copy of the game.
From Friday to Sunday seems like a good enough time to experience a good chunk of Watch Dogs: Legion’s open world campaign, but don’t expect a marathon to finish the game before trial ends as you won’t get to progress past the campaign mission “Skye Larsen”, which is considered to be the halfway point of the game.
Still, that’s a lot of game. If interested, pre-load for Watch Dogs: Legion will be available starting March 25 in your respective region, so you can be all ready to roam the streets of London as early as Friday.
The timing is spot on as Watch Dogs: Legion has been updated recently with the launch of the long-awaited online mode, which is getting content called the Leader of the Pack update that adds the online mode’s first Tactical Op mission.
Aside from the free trial announcement, Ubisoft further details Season Pass owners on what is coming to Watch Dog: Legion in the near future.
In late Arpil, a new playable heronamed Mina Sidhu will be available and she has the ability of mind control and will be available together with a new mission.
In late June, a new storyling called Bloodlines will be available in single player and online, and it involves the first Watch Dogs’ protagonist Aiden Pearce and Watch Dogs 2’s Wrench and they will be fully playable.
Sometime in August, another new playable hero named Darcy will be available and she is a member of the Assassin Order from the Assassin’s Creed franchise. There will also be adding new missions.
Players can also look forward to the addition of two new competitive game modes—Extraction and Invasion—as these will be available in May regardless if you own the season pass or not.
If you find yourself enjoying your time with Watch Dogs: Legion over the weekend, it will be discounted in all platforms starting this week.
