/Square Enix has confirmed that the Deluxe and 1st Class Edition of Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available in the Philippines on the game’s release next year.
Final Fantasy VII Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe edition has a lot of neat stuff packed inside as it includes a hardback artbook, a cd of the game’s soundtrack, and a steelbook case for the game featuring the infamous Sephiroth in the cover. Also, you get the Summon Materia Cactuar to add into your game. The deluxe edition of Final Fantasy VII will cost you PHP4,299 (~$85).
Final Fantasy VII Remake 1st Class Edition
The 1st Class edition is the collector’s edition for the remake. It will cost you PHP 18,999 (~$379), which is a bit pricey but you can’t blame them as it comes with a detailed Play Arts Kai model of Cloud Strife on his trademark bike. Together with the model comes with all of the contents found in the Deluxe Edition of the game.
The 1st Class edition will come in limited quantities so best to call your trusty local retailer to reserve yourself a copy.
Those who pre-order any version of the game will be given another summon - the “Chocobo Chick” summon Materia, which will be available at launch. For those opting to pre-order digitally via PSN, you are given a Dynamic Theme for doing so.
The standard copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake will cost PHP 2,999 (~$60) and will be out on March 3, 2020, on the PlayStation 4.
Square showed more of the game during this year’s Tokyo Game Show, especially a new trailer revealing familiar faces and our first look at summons in action. Check it out below.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
